Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Honey Bee health and nutrition are increasingly under the spotlight due to the pivotal role of bee pollination in ecosystems and agriculture. This Special Issue delves into the background and evolution of research aimed at understanding and enhancing honey bee health. Our primary goal is to offer a comprehensive platform for disseminating cutting-edge research which addresses various aspects of honey bee health and nutrition.

The scope of this Special Issue encompasses a wide range of topics, including the impacts of environmental pollution, pathogens, and pesticides on honey bee health, as well as innovative nutritional strategies to enhance their immune systems. Additionally, we seek to explore themes relating to the quality, safety, and high-quality production of bee products.

We welcome contributions utilizing innovative methodologies and offering insights into sustainable beekeeping and agricultural management practices. We aim to highlight impactful research articles, reviews, and perspectives that advance our understanding of honey bee health and nutrition. Manuscripts focusing on emerging threats, breakthrough discoveries, and practical solutions to mitigate honey bee decline are particularly encouraged. Through interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration, this Special Issue aims to catalyze the efforts towards safeguarding the health and resilience of honey bee populations worldwide.
